Thought I’d jump on the Valentine’s bandwagon with some Lovers Rock but not just any run of the mill cover version. This is Londoner Paulette Tajah’s super track, ‘Cos You Love Me Baby’ which appeared on mid-80s comp. Reggae Hits Volume One. It seemed everyone in South London had this LP at the time – I kept my copy and do not regret it one bit! Paulette Tajah was not a big name but she made a big contribution to the Lovers Rock scene with this track – God bless her wherever she is and I hope she’s still making tunes like this…….
